Change the staffing schedule to ensure that no child is left unsupervised and no classroom is over ratio. Retrain staff on face to name. Assign CCEI training regarding supervision and its importance. Implement internal policies that enforce the importance of supervision. If standard is not met then the employee will receive repercussions.

We are under new management. Staff member was immediately terminated, and the program self-reported the incident to licensing. All remaining staff members were retrained on appropriate discipline on 12/14/2024. The new director, assistant director, and remaining staff members understand appropriate discipline, redirection, and positive guidance. The CD and AD will do walk throughs of each classroom periodically each day. The CD and AD will coach teachers daily by modeling positive guidance. Sprouts will visit the center a couple times a week to coach the teachers.
