Licensing observed a three year old child that was left outside of the daycare entrance (church foyer). The teacher let the child in when the child was knocking on the door to enter. The child had been unattended for three minutes.

Child was observed to be back in the classroom during the visit. In the future, a system will be put in place where there will be a paper version of a face to name so that staff will know how many children they have at all times especially during transitions.
