Plan to Correct

As per licensing requirements, all personnel will work to ensure that all staff are trained to possess the skills necessary to perform their position responsibilities. Owner/director had a mandatory staff meeting on 05/22/25 which all staff had reviewed, read and signed appropriate discipline and behavior guidance requirements per OK licensing guidelines book. On 04/22/25, owner/director has reduced pay and wrote-up the personnel who spanked her own child. Owner/director has made a program policy for teaching personnel on 04/23/25. No teaching personnel will be in direct supervision of their own child if their child attends daycare at this facility.

Plan to Correct

Owner/director has made a program policy change on 04/23/25: No personnel, while being counted in staff-child ratios, will wear, use or possess any type of headphones/ear buds while working at the daycare center. Owner/director will continuously monitor teaching personnel throughout the day to ensure headphones/earbuds are not being used by teaching personnel while working.

340:110-3-287(c) - Non-job related. do not participate in personal activities that may interfere with supervision, such as visitors, phone calls, or electronic device use.

Plan to Correct

On 05/22/25, all personnel had a staff meeting with owner/director where we reviewed, read, and signed reporting section of the licensing requirements book on child abuse and neglect. Owner/director had a staff meeting with all employees and informed them that any and all incidents or potential non-compliances need to be reported to the owner/director or assistant director immediately otherwise, a write up with take place.
