Plan to Correct

Employee failed to comply with the plan the program has in place to not leave children alone. They can use the door to bring a child inside with another staff in the room to take the child. They also have access to walkies and phones to alert staff when a child needs to come into the building from outside. Also it has been added to the procedures handbook for staff and they will be terminated if they leave a child unattended. 7/26/23 Kimberly Motley

Regulation Description

340:110-3-287(a) - Supervision. Supervision is the function of observing, overseeing, and guiding a child or group of children, including an awareness of, and responsibility for, the ongoing activity of each child, and being near enough to intervene when needed. The program is required to maintain supervision at all times.
