Staff were reminded that Leadership should have been made aware of the incident as well as the parents at the time that it happened. Staff were required to take 2 hours of training on reporting incidents per Primrose policy which is aligned with OKDHS licensing requirements.

Staff member was instructed to not raise their voice from across the room to get child's attention, but rather to go to the child and get on their level to talk in a normal voice to them. Staff member also completed a 2 hr class on Positive Child-Teacher Engagement.

Even though, Child Welfare found allegation to be unsubstantiated, staff member was instructed to not move cots with her foot. Staff member was also required to complete 2 hours of training on Developmentally Appropriate Practice and Positive Behavior Support. Leadership will also conduct daily observations on staff member for 90 days.

Staff member was instructed to not stand in the doorway or leave the room until the staff member taking her place had crossed the threshold and signed into Procare, which is Primrose policy. Staff member also completed a 2 hr class on this policy.

A parent had dropped off her child in the young toddler classroom during a licensing visit, causing room to be out of ratio. Teacher notified management, and a member of management immediately moved the child to the older toddler classroom, correcting the ratio violation. Teacher was instructed to ask parent to take child to correct classroom at drop off rather than waiting and having a member of management to do it. Management addressed issue at staff meeting on 07/21/2024.
