At arrival teacher was not in the classroom where 3 year old were sleeping, gate was closed and the teacher was sitting in the all purpose school age area. Non -Compliance was corrected other staff member entered the 3 year old classroom during periodic visit.

Supervision: Program staff were not supervising the children.
Plan to Correct
Director stated the program will keep two staff members in the front classroom at all times. Director stated they are keeping the heavy wooden doors that are on both sides of the laundry room between the kitchen and dining room shut so that if a child or staff leaves the dining room to go into the front room, the doors opening will be heard. Director stated the two teachers, and their class are staying in the dining room until all of them are ready to go lay down for rest time, and then the class is moving all together from the dining room to the front room for rest time. Director stated the staff members are counting children as they are walking from the dining room to the rest areas so that they ensure all children are present with them in their class. Director stated she has a ring camera up at the program now that gives her alerts if anyone walks up to the program and alerts are received on the Directors phone and in the program when the front door is opened.
Regulation Description
340:110-3-287(a) - Supervision. Supervision is the function of observing, overseeing, and guiding a child or group of children, including an awareness of, and responsibility for, the ongoing activity of each child, and being near enough to intervene when needed. The program is required to maintain supervision at all times.

Regulation Description
340:110-3-286(a) - Ratios. Ratios are the number of teaching personnel required to be physically present with a child or group of children, per Oklahoma Administrative Code (OAC) 340 Appendix GG - Ratios and Group Sizes. Only teaching personnel count in ratios, unless requirements specifically state otherwise. The program is required to maintain ratios at all times.
