We will ensure that adequate staff are scheduled and present during morning hours to maintain proper ratios during combined classrooms times. Additional staff will be available to support morning drop-offs, and classrooms will be separated in a timely manner to meet ratio requirements. We will consistently monitor ratios to ensure classrooms, include mixed-age groups, remain in compliance at all times.

Regulation Description

340:110-3-286(a) - Ratios. Ratios are the number of teaching personnel required to be physically present with a child or group of children, per Oklahoma Administrative Code (OAC) 340 Appendix GG - Ratios and Group Sizes. Only teaching personnel count in ratios, unless requirements specifically state otherwise. The program is required to maintain ratios at all times.
