Plan to Correct

The plan of correction for this incident will be to make sure that my staff do not leave their assigned rooms. We will not give breaks to other staff until we are positive that no one else needs to leave their classroom. All staff will complete an in-person training over procedures.

Regulation Description

340:110-3-287(a) - Supervision. Supervision is the function of observing, overseeing, and guiding a child or group of children, including an awareness of, and responsibility for, the ongoing activity of each child, and being near enough to intervene when needed. The program is required to maintain supervision at all times.

Plan to Correct

The plan of correction is to hire more staff which was completed 12/13/2024 we closed for this day. 12/16/2024 new hire started. We will also make sure to turn children away when ratios cannot be met. All staff will complete and in person training over policy and procedures.

Regulation Description

340:110-3-286(a) - Ratios. Ratios are the number of teaching personnel required to be physically present with a child or group of children, per Oklahoma Administrative Code (OAC) 340 Appendix GG - Ratios and Group Sizes. Only teaching personnel count in ratios, unless requirements specifically state otherwise. The program is required to maintain ratios at all times.
