Director will continue to work on finding staffs certification cards. Director and Assistant Director will get their CPR/FA renewed ASAP in order for the program to have at least one person current on site at all times. Director will with Regional Manager Shannon Moyer on scheduling a class for all other staff to get their CPRFA renewed. Director will start a spreadsheet with everyone's current certifications with their expiration dates to prevent this from happening again. Director will keep a copy of all staff CPRFA trainings and make sure staff keeps a copy as well. Director will have staff post their CPRFA cards to help prevent a gap in certification.

340:110-3-284.2(c)(3) - Position specific professional development. Teachers obtain and maintain CPR and first aid certification requirements, per OAC 340:110-3-284(d). Teachers obtain the certification within three months.

Director will ensure that the cook, or anyone in the kitchen, has close-toed shoes on. Director will go over the policy with the cook to make sure the requirements on food preparation are clear.

The program is doing a program-wide "clean up" of all allergies and medical conditions. The program will be ensuring all teaching staff understand the policy and protocol regarding allergies and medications. Enrollment forms will be double-checked by director/assistant director as well as admin staff. All enrollment forms are gone over during family orientations.

340:110-3-400(m)(6)(D)(ii) - life-threatening condition medications, such as epinephrine pens and rescue inhalers, are in close proximity to the child or youth for immediate administration when needed, such as being in the same classroom or supplemental activity area as the child or youth, outdoors when the child or youth is outside, or on field trips.
