Plan to Correct

Children's attendance will be taken upon entering and exiting classrooms when going outside plus when returning back from outside. The attendance will be name to face of children to ensure no child is left unattended outside or inside. In the future, to ensure proper supervision all staff will be diligent about doing name to face attendance and counting of children to ensure they are in their classrooms at all times.

Supervision is the function of observing, overseeing, and guiding a child or group of children, including an awareness of, and responsibility for, the ongoing activity of each child, and being near enough to intervene when needed. The program is required to maintain supervision at all times.

In the future, the Director will remind the personnel not to use their cell phones and personnel are properly supervising as required. Director will walk around the center and check classrooms to ensure the staff are not using cell phones while supervising children.

Reports will continue to be made in classroom log book and written to the parent as well and verbally to the parents as we already do.
