The Education Manager completed a written reprimand on 5/8/23. Explained C.A.R.D Head Start Policies for Redirection. If C.A.R.D Head Start policies for appropriate redirection are not followed employee will be recommended for termination. Staff will attend Conscious Discipline and the Pyramid training over the summer. Mentors will continue to provide guidance in the classroom as well.

340:110-3-288(c) - Inappropriate discipline. Personnel are prohibited from using or threatening to use inappropriate discipline.

Plan to Correct

Education Specialist conducted a written warning on 5/17/23 for Smoking on CARD Head Start premises and not following Tobacco-free workplace policy #30. Violation of this policy will be cause for disciplinary action which may include termination.
