1. Safe Sleep Training: All staff members reviewed safe sleep requirements to ensure compliance with Oklahoma Child Care Licensing standards and safe sleep practices for infants. 2. Safe Sleep Signage: Safe sleep reminder signs were posted in the infant room in areas where they are clearly visible to staff. 3. Staff Training and Accountability: The infant room staff received additional training regarding safe sleep practices, including the prohibition of blankets and other soft items in infant cribs. Staff were reminded of their responsibility to follow safe sleep requirements at all times. 4. Parent Communication Policy: Kiddie Korral Daycare revised and updated its Parent Communication Policy to strengthen communication between the center and families. The updated policy clarifies expectations for sharing important information, addressing concerns, and maintaining open, professional communication between parents and staff. 5. Ongoing Monitoring: Management will continue to monitor infant sleep environments and review safe sleep practices with staff as needed to ensure continued compliance, with licensing requirements.
