Safe sleep
Non Compliance Observed One teacher with an infant children mixed with one year olds did not have completed Safe Sleep training. Numerous, Repeated, and/or Serious Non Compliance Yes Plan to Correct During the visit another teacher with safe sleep took over the classroom. Director will have the teacher complete the course and not work with infants until that course is completed. Regulation Description Safe sleep. CPR and first aid
Non Compliance Observed Four teachers and substitute teachers employed do not have CPR and First aid training from an approved source. National CPR Foundation training was taken and current but not an approved source. Numerous, Repeated, and/or Serious Non Compliance No Plan to Correct There is an American Heart Association training planned for October 2023. They will have the 4 staff gain current and approved training prior to that date. Regulation Description CPR and first aid. Cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and first aid certifications are age-appropriate for the children's ages accepted into care and are from approved sources listed on the OPDR website. In addition to CPR and first aid certification requirements for individuals in (A) through (B) of this subsection, other position specific CPR and first aid certification requirements are also met, per OAC 340:110-3-284.1 through 340:110-3-284.4. Portable wading pools
Non Compliance Observed Two year olds and older were playing outside with a sensory table on the ground that was filled with some water. They were playing on the concrete.
