Ms. Johnson stated she will talk to the individual about not being in the facility. Ms. Johnson stated she would take the individual's key to the building. Ms. Johnson stated the individual's key was located on the desk in the main classroom. Ms. Johnson will no longer call the individual for help with supplies. Ms. Johnson will call someone else to help her with supplies.

The teacher returned to the facility about 5 minutes after Licensing entered the facility. In the future, Ms. Johnson will ensure there are appropriate staff to child ratios prior to allowing a teaching personnel counted in staff to child ratios to leave the facility.

Ratios. Ratios are the number of teaching personnel required to be physically present with a child or group of children, per Oklahoma Administrative Code (OAC) 340 Appendix GG - Ratios and Group Sizes. Only teaching personnel count in ratios, unless requirements specifically state otherwise. The program is required to maintain ratios at all times.

During the visit Ms. Johnson and the staff member put their cell phones away. In the future, personnel will keep their cell phones and any other electronic devices at the charging station. Personnel will not be on their cell phones or any other electronic device while actively supervising children and counting in the staff to child ratio. Ms. Johnson will put a note on the door to inform parents when they are at their max staff to child ratio. Ms. Johnson will respond to parent concerns prior to and after having children in care.

Ms. Johnson will organize the shelves and have a specific area for each item to go. The facility and toys are disinfected and sanitized every Friday. Ms. Johnson will ensure each table is cleaned after every meal. In the future, Staff will sanitize and disinfect the facility and toys every Wednesday and Friday. Staff will continue to clean after each meal to include the floor.
