Director understands staff must complete this within 90 days of hire. Regulation Description Entry Level Child Care Training (ELCCT) or equivalent. Prior to, or within 90-calendar days of employment, teaching personnel hired after August 1, 2003, complete an approved entry-level training listed on the Oklahoma Professional Development Registry (OPDR) website, such as ELCCT. Non Compliance Observed bottle of generic Benadryl was sitting on a low shelf in the kitchen, which is accessible to children. Numerous, Repeated, and/or Serious Non Compliance Yes Plan to Correct Upon notifying the director of this, she threw the bottle of medicine away. Director states the only medication given right now is diaper cream, and these medication permission forms are located in the classrooms. She states she will go trough each classroom and check diaper bags and cubbies. Will remind all staff and parents that all medication weather prescription or over the counter must be given to the director to put in the designated medication box, which will be inaccessible and in a location such as the kitchen or the director's office. Non Compliance Observed Multiple hazards accessible in kitchen to include jug of bleach water on low open shelf, large knives and scissors in drawers that are about three feet tall. Cabinet under sink with multiple cleaning products was not locked with a proper lock that would make it inaccessible. Numerous, Repeated, and/or Serious Non Compliance Yes Plan to Correct Hazards were removed or moved out of reach during visit. Director states she will discuss with church staff how to either make the doors leading to the kitchen inaccessible to children or ensure all of the hazardous items in the kitchen are made inaccessible to children. Non Compliance Observed One classroom's cabinet under the sink was not locked. It contained 10 bottles of toxic liquid to include spic and span, Lysol, Comet, and bleach water.
