Ratios
Non Compliance Observed Classroom outside had too many one year olds. Ratio was 14:2 with 6 one year olds. Numerous, Repeated, and/or Serious Non Compliance Yes Plan to Correct Two children left during worker's visit. Room was then in ratio. The Director and Owner will keep rooms open instead of having two teachers in one room. Regulation Description Ratios. Ratios are the number of teaching personnel required to be physically present with a child or group of children, per Oklahoma Administrative Code (OAC) 340 Appendix GG - Ratios and Group Sizes. Only teaching personnel count in ratios, unless requirements specifically state otherwise. The program is required to maintain ratios at all times. Plan to Correct Date 2023-04-12

Non Compliance Observed Teachers in the one year old classroom did not know how many one year old children were in their group. Numerous, Repeated, and/or Serious Non Compliance No Plan to Correct Director will have teachers keep a clipboard with the class list and their birthdays. Director will speak about this new system. Non Compliance Observed High chair trays with food scraps were resting on diaper changing table pad. Numerous, Repeated, and/or Serious Non Compliance No Plan to Correct Teachers removed the trays from the surface. Director will speak to staff about this. Standing liquid
Non Compliance Observed Mop bucket with water in it was left unattended in hallway. Numerous, Repeated, and/or Serious Non Compliance No Plan to Correct Owner moved the bucket into the laundry room. Director will alert staff that mop buckets must be attended to at all time unless in mop closet. Regulation Description Standing liquid.
