Licensing observed three personnel via video surveillance footage sitting outside on the South playground area when a child tripped coming off the slide and falling to the ground. The child was observed laying on the ground for approximately 10 minutes before personnel intervened.

Director placed the preschool teaching personnel on suspension for the investigation. Director will terminate personnel once cleared by HR. Director will have a staff meeting and review supervision with all employees. Director stated in the future, one staff will be on one side of the playground and another staff on the other side of the playground. Staff will be standing and walking around to ensure appropriate supervision is maintained for the children. Director stated any employee that does not abide by these standards will face disciplinary action.
